SCIS..... conducts Driver Improvement Clinic's every other Saturday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.

This is a classroom setting.  Virginia requires a minimum of 8 hours instructional course with a written test. You may have to take the Driver Improvement Course if you are:
  1. Under the age of 19, with a moving violation or citation
  2. Points on your driver's license
  3. Court Ordered
  4. DMV Ordered
  5. Voluntary

How Does DMV Receive My Certificate?

Each individual will receive a certificate after completion of the course and after passing the final exam. The certificate is only used for record keeping purposes by the individual. Safety Council of SW will electronically file your completion through a secure website provided by the Department of Motor Vehicles.
Driver Improvement Cost:
$65.00 for Non-CDL holders
$75.00 for CDL holders
